Happee victorious in home premiere

Happee won the first home game of the season. OLS from Oulu fought gallantly for two periods but the home team ruled the third period and won 7-2.

Happee had a weak opening period. The players lost the ball several times in the midfield but OLS failed to score from their chances. Veli-Matti Hynynen scored for the home team and the second period started with Happee leading 1-0. Juuso Heikkinen made it 2-0 but Happee was still struggling to get the game going. Finally Antti Nieminen managed to reduce to 2-1 and a moment later he scored again making the game even 2-2. Paul Kotilainen got a lucky goal in the end of the second period and Happee got the lead before last period.

Happee finally found its game in the third period. The players picked up the pace and took better care of the ball. They scored four more goals and Miro Tuomala was solid before the net. The final score 7-2 was well earned, even if the game started poorly. The player of the match was Paul Kotilainen with two scored goals.

Happee has now two wins after two games and the next home game is already lurking behind the corner. Happee meets Hämeenlinna Steelers on next Wednesday at 18.30.
